Water diseases
While searching on the internet me, Diana Diaz a student at south East High School decided to work on water diseases. While looking for something to write about I ran into some website (http://www.dropinthebucket.org/content/water-facts). Did you know that more than half of Africa’s people lack access of safe drinking water? Africa doesn’t really have any access on getting clean and safe water. We people in America don’t really take Care of our water situation. We always take advantage of it and don’t really realize that there are other people other than us that need water access. Stated on the website said, “In developing countries, one person uses an average of ten liters of water per day, In the United States; one person uses an average of 75-80 gallons in the same period of time.” This is real serious problem because we take a lot of water more than what other people even can get in a very long period of tine. Another fact “is every flush of the toilet uses the same amount of water that one person in the third world uses all day for washing, cleaning, cooking, and drinking.” One real problem we have to find a solution to be that we need to start saving some water for those in needs because we are not the only ones that need water. Stated by (http://www.dropinthebucket.org/content/water-facts) in the past 10 years, diarrhea has killed more children world wide than all the people lost to armed conflict since World War II. Twelve million people die each year from lack of safe drinking water, including more than 3 million who die from waterborne diseases. Over 80% of the disease in developing countries is related to poor drinking water and sanitation. Now I honestly don’t think this is all realated but I interviewed Alberto Romo who sai, “it is true many coutries do have the same problem with water.” In Asia and in Africa women have to walk an aproximate of 6. km which is 3.75 miles just to get water. This is the average of what they walk besides walking to get water they carry about 20 kg or 44 lbs of water. Women are amore concern when it comes to water realse disease. Which leaves them with short amount of time to get educated or give themn any time for ecconomic efforts. Not just in Africa do womenhaveto walk 3.75 miles but also one-third of women in Egypt walk more than in some parts of Africa, women expend as much as 85% of their daily energy intake on getting water, increasing incidences of anemia and other health problems.n an hour a day for water. My poit of view is that we really have some problems that need to befixed. We need to start thinking of other countries and save some water not just use it all at once.

what it takes to be an Agent!
Alberto Romo a 26 year old man who loves his job. He’s been working as an Agent for about 3 years. Romo said,”I love my job.” He enjoys helping others. Customers seem to like Mr. Romo’s work because of how good he’s at it. Saying “everyday of work is another day of happiness.”
Romo stated “this job is not just for anybody, you have the skills to become an Agent, and not everyone has it inside them.” It is really hard to be able to keep a job like this said Romo because “what happens when no one likes your work?” then what will you do? Stating that “not being good at your job can make you not like your job at all.” Before anything Mr. Alberto Romo new he had to succeed high school years and study hard for the test. Romo states “school was easy for him, no obstacles getting in the way of him reaching his dreams.” Mr. Alberto’s life has changed mainly because he no longer has free time during the day. Romo Said “I wouldn’t change it for any other job.” He loves to hear “thank you” from clients because he knows he’s done a great job on finding them a place to live and a place they can finally call home. Mr. Romo’s the Agent you can go to if you want good deals, a nice house, and happiness to you life. To Mr. Romo his job is very important and special to him. Romo said “sometimes I get lazy and am in the mood of not waking up but then iu think about the bright side and say… hey its just another day I’m looking forward on having a great day.” Mr. Romo is very positive about everything he does. Romo’s a type of guy that wakes up at 6:00 am put some music on to wake him up breakfast set up on dinning table felling great and confident by 7:00am he’s out the door getting his game face on seeking for a new adventure to succeed. Amazing what people can do if they really want it right?
